Orthopedic Casting Tape is made of knitted fiberglass fabric, impregnated with water activated polyurethane resin. It is used for orthopedic illness or fracture from external wound, to preserve fixation or wounded joint. It is an upgraded product of traditional plaster bandage. It has many advantages, such as high strength, light weight, curing rapidly, air-permeability, X-ray radiolucent, easy operation, comfort and safety, and less dust during removal.

How to Use

Wear surgical gloves and choose the proper specification.

Put the cast padding or stockinet on the fixed part.

Open package, immerse the cast in room temperature water for 3-5 seconds and press 2-3 times.

Squeeze out excess water and wrap spirally with 2~3 layers, overlapping by half or two-thirds width.

Shape as needed, smooth the surface to achieve good contact between layers.

Use an electric cast saw to cut and remove when necessary.
