Fiberglass Fabric Orthopedic Casting Tape / Polyurethane Orthopedic Casting Tape

Orthopedic Casting Tape is made of knitted fiberglass fabric, impregnated with water-activated polyurethane resin. It is used for orthopedic illness or fractures from external wounds to preserve fixation of wounded joints. As an upgraded alternative to traditional plaster bandages, it offers high strength, light weight, rapid curing, air permeability, and X-ray radiolucency. It ensures easy operation, comfort, safety, and minimal dust during removal.

1. Wear surgical gloves and choose the proper specification.
2. Apply cast padding or stockinet on the fixed part.
3. Open package, immerse cast in room temp water for 3-5 seconds, and press 2-3 times.
4. Wrap spirally with 2-3 layers, overlapping by one-half or two-thirds width.
5. Shape as needed; rub the surface for good layer contact.
6. Use an electric cast saw for removal.
